Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Compression Sack
I'll start out by repeating what the bag says. To close, align the top two edges of the dry sack and roll down tightly at least three times away from you. Then secure the buckle by clipping it towards you. Position cap and pull compression straps tight. The Event fabric base is air permeable, which allows air out without water getting in. Hand wash. Not intended for submersion. Made in Vietnam. FYI, Sea to Summit is an Australian company. This bag seems a little lighter than the Sea to Summit Event compression sack, but it's comparable. Bought size medium 14L to fit my Western Mountaineering Alpinlite 6'6" LZ overfill sleeping bag into. It just fits. Works well, but a hassle to roll the open edge three times while the down sleeping bag is trying to escape.
Pros:
- Solid
Cons:
- Rolling it up and buckling
Best Used for:
- wet weather

Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Compression Sack
Same quality as all Sea to Summit products I’ve tried. Great design the small size works well for my 20deg sleeping bag. I went with the Ultra-Sil to save a few ounces. Time will tell whether it is as durable vs the regular Event Compression Dry Bag.

Best compression sack by far
The material is by far the best. Keeps everything dry and it's very slick so you can slide it across itself and compress everything inside the bag better before rolling down. Absolutely amazing. Love it
