Sierra Designs Backcountry Bed 600F 3 Season Sleeping Bag
I am a stomach sleeper and this bag is awesome for that. I can use the comforter to burrito up just like I do at home and none of my parts are sticking out in the cold, unless I want them to be, the foot vent is innovative and just a stroke of genius. Your body can't reach optimal sleeping temp till you can kick one foot out from under the covers right? This bag is a must have for all stomach slee

I chose the BC bag vs a conventional mummy bag for the ability to move (vs the confinement). I was very pleased. 2 bags were purchased for a section hike of the Colorado Trail late July. The bags were plenty warm and comfortable. We could move, stay warm, and cool off (w movable 'blanket' top and foot sleeve. The bags were slightly larger and heavier than competitive bags / also a bit less expensive - but for my evening comfort, was willing to make that sacrifice

This review is for using the back country bed in a hammock. I didnt see anything about using it in a hammock. it worked very well. i didnt have any issues getting in the bag or even better out of the bag. the hole at the bottom of the bag for your feet was great it was also great when i got to hot i was able to take off my shorts and kick them out with my feet out the hole in the bottom. i would recommend this sleeping bag to anyone. it didnt even feel like a mummy bag but still kept the warm as one.

I'm too claustrophobic to be able to sleep in a regular mummy sleeping bag and LOVED how the Backcountry Bed allowed me to move around without feeling too constrained --- except for around the legs where it was still just as tight as a regular mummy sleeping bag. I really loved the top part of this bag and so wanted it to work.

Just got back from a 6 day 70 mile canoe trip down the Namekagon River in northern Wisconsin. The backcountry bed was everything it was cracked up to be. The most comfortable sleep I have ever had out in the woods. Got to the point where I was looking forward to going to bed at night and in the morning didn't want to get up. The group actually made me demo the bed for them. Loved the fact that you

As a side/stomach sleeper, I've always made my peace that I was unlikely to get a good night's sleep while camping unless I thrashed myself into an exhaustion-induced coma. This sleeping bag upends that expectation and then some!
I have to confess, I've only used it for summer trips thus far, so I can't opine on the thermal performance. That said, for summer use at least, it's easily the most com
