GC's Review of Sierra Designs Backcountry Bed 650F 20 Deg Sleeping Bag
I have been looking for a down sleeping solution that I didn’t feel twisted up in as I rolled around throughout the night for some time now. I was originally going to go with a quilt but a co-worker recommended the Backcountry Bed and I am glad they did! Super soft, light weight and compresses down nicely. I am digging the no zipper “comforter” design. Remember to pair it with a pad with an R-Value that matches the conditions(especially Fall and Winter). The Backcountry Bed has no insulation on the upper half to conserve weight where the sleeping pad sleeve is located. They ability to stick your feet out the vent is an added bonus.
Pros:
soft
Light & comfortable
Roomy in the right places
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Backpacking
Camping
Sleeping :)
