Sierra Designs Backcountry Bed 650F 20 Deg Sleeping Bag
I have been looking for a down sleeping solution that I didn’t feel twisted up in as I rolled around throughout the night for some time now. I was originally going to go with a quilt but a co-worker recommended the Backcountry Bed and I am glad they did! Super soft, light weight and compresses down ...

I wanted this bag to work SO BAD! The design is exactly what I’ve been looking for since as a side and stomach sleeper, I hate mummy bags. Unfortunately on its maiden run in the Monongahela Natl. Forest this bag failed miserably to perform. Our coldest night was 28° and the average temp hovered betw...

This bag is awesome! Sierra Designs no zip sleeping bags are my favorite. I own six of them. I’m 5’ 10” 170lbs and the backcountry bed (long) is perfect. Plenty of room to toss and turn and the large flap is wide. The bag is larger at the torso. The material is very comfortable. The foot box vent is genius. The back has a sleeve for your sleeping pad to prevent rolling off. To save weight and cost, the back does not have padding at the torso because you should be on a sleeping pad and flattened padding doesn’t provide warm anyways.

Love Sierra Backcountry Sleeping Bag design. It’s light and super warm.Love the zipper-less design, and spots to place your hands if it’s cold out. If you’re looking for a sleeping bag for UL hiking, this is the bag for you. Would highly recommend.

This sleeping bag was the lightest and lowest rated duo I could find. Very hard to find but my order came promptly with campsaver! My only issue is that it doesn’t fit the klymit duo sleeping pad but in my research almost no duo sleeping bag actually fits that double pad, they are all a bit smaller...go figure...but we will use it on top without securing it
Pros:
Light
warm
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
3 season
