Most Helpful Positive Review Nice, light bag
(I would do 4.5 if i could for cost and low color choices) I started an ultralight backpacking build essentially from scratch, having to buy all new gear; was at around 20lbs and now currently at 7.3lbs, this bag allows you drop a full pound while giving you more features and reliability (no zipper to break or snag in the dark). I wish it came in more colors, but that's not really an issue. Always remember you trade durability for weight with these things, so the material needs to be treated more gently than a regular bag. I should mention i am a bigger dude, 6'/ 250lbs with broad shoulders, a...

This is a very warm, lightweight sleeping bag with awesome colors. Best of all is Campsaver’s service. Received very quickly. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews online. Many more happy customers must write no reviews when everything goes well. Ordered and received in 1 week!
Pros:
  • No zipper, innovative design
Cons:
  • Can be a little constricted around waist
Would recommend: Yes

Innovative Comfort

by TDCamperB, from UT, United States Written on June 3, 2019
The zipper-less design of this bag is great for users with broader shoulders. The flap gives the user the ability to adjust the shoulder width to their liking with ease. I did notice the wrap around flap coming open a few times during the night as I move and roll from side to side in my sleep. The sleeping pad sleeve on the back of the bag fits most standard sized square sleeping pads. The feature I like the most about this bag is the foot vent at the bottom of the bag. I sleep pretty hot, and it was easy to stick a foot out of the vent when I found myself overheating. Overall this is a warm, lightweight, and well-made bag for back sleepers.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Adjustability
  • Quick ventilation
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking
Would recommend: Yes

Great Concept/Great Bag

by theoldscout, from CA, United States Written on September 11, 2018
I was looking for a 20 degree, light weight bag for backpacking and the Cloud 800 fit the bill. The zipper-less design allows me snuggle up when I need to and vent in the middle of the night when I'm restless. I also appreciate the trapdoor in the foot box because it always seems that no matter how cold it gets in the local SoCal mountains or the Rockies, my feet always end up too warm. The sleeping pad lock is a great improvement too. I love the idea of using an elegant, cutting edge design. Kudos for light weight, ease of use, warmth and design! I highly recommend this bag!
Pros:
  • Light weight
  • COMFORT
  • Warmth
  • Design
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking
Would recommend: Yes

Awesome BUT

by mc, from UT, United States Written on June 25, 2018
I bought this sleeping bag to lighten up my backpacking setup and used it for the first time on a 3 week truck tour of Mongolia. Here are the pros: super lightweight, packable, and warm. I was initially super skeptical about the zipperless design but the shoulder pocket ticks into the bag nicely and is quite cozy. I sleep cold and this bag would be comfortable for me down to about 0C. Plus, adding the sleeping pad pocket solves the perpetual problem of sliding off your mat. Woohoo! BUT there are some considerations. First, if you side sleep (like me), it’s super cozy when you’re on your right side, harder to cozy up on your left. If you tend to move around during the night, the bag doesn’t move with you... I ended up tied up so tight after a few shifts I had to get out to recombobulate myself. All said, I’m happy with this purchase, but not over the moon about it.
Pros:
  • Warm, light, packable, dries quickly
Cons:
  • Not cozy on both sides, can get tangled up
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking
Would recommend: Yes
