I was after a pillow that was extremely compact and lightweight but didn't want the "balloon" feel of an inflatable. This pillow is exactly what I was after and more - it's really soft, warm and comfortable. It feels like a proper pillow and the best way to get a good night's sleep when hiking/travelling light.

This pillow is comfortable! And light...though it's a little bulky stuffed down. The down insulation adds a bit of warmth compared to inflatables. It has a separate internal pillow (not down) that you can remove to save some weight and bulk, then use extra clothing to stuff the pillow. But it's great as is, great luxury item to carry, maybe a little hot for serious summer weather but otherwise highly recommended.
Pros:
COMFORT
weight
Cons:
bulk
Best Used for:
Backpacking

This sucker is great - lightweight and compact, but feels like the pillows at home. We are side and tummy sleepers, and love it! This pillow has now been on the AT for a week, and a bike touring through Cape Cod. Highly recommend.
Pros:
lightweight, compact, comfortable
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Camping, lightweight travel

This is a great pillow - Dry Down helps prevent water absorbtion when things get damp in the Pacific Northwest. I also like the flexibility of taking out the primary stuffing for lighter weight. It may be a little more money than other options but worth the money.
Pros:
Light weight
Dry Down
Cons:
More money than some other options.

I have a Thermarest pillow and a Cocoon air pillow that aren't quite what I'm looking for. This pillow is exactly what I want to support my neck when I hammock camp. I'm planning on buying one for my son.
