I decided to purchase the Sierra Design sleeping pad just to try it out after seeing that it was an insulated 3" pad. For a petite big guy like myself, I need the extra thickness of a pad to be comfortable while sleeping in the ground. The price I could not pass it up. From first glance the pad looks like its made of good solid material. Once inflated, the pad held its own and fet great for just testing it out at home for one night. I can't wait to take it out on the trails. Packing it back in the sack is a since with the burrito bag. Speaking of burritos... its time for lunch!
