I spent a lot of time researching and trying on down jackets in an attempt to find a reasonably priced option that would be 1. Comfortable 2. Budget Friendly 3. Moderately Warm 4. Aesthetically pleasing 5. Lightweight. THis jacket seems to check all of those boxes. I ordered this one online during a sale and have been using it for just about 2 weeks. My initial impressions are that this jacket is very cozy feeling, and I really enjoy wearing it. It was within my budget. It isn't the warmest jacket, but was comfortable down to about 38F so far while actively walking and with a merino base layer under it. It looks nice. And it's lightweight. The only downsides I've seen so far is 1. I't s not the warmest, but then again, those coats are generally $200-$300 more. I've also noticed some of the stitching is already coming out of the sleeves even with only light use as an occasional walking jacket. For the price I paid, I'm reasonably pleased with it.
