For the most part, this chair is a decently built oversized camping chair for big and tall people. The legs are sturdy, and are able to support a good amount of weight (especially when getting up and pushing off the arm supports to stand). The downsides are that the fabric materials and sewing don't leave me too confident the chair will hold up to continued use over time. The zipper for the phone compartment is really cheap and already won't zip all the way closed only after using it a few times. There is also nothing that securely holds the back of the arm supports so they tend to slide down the support poles. Lastly, the color is much more yellow than the pictures, almost a banana yellow color and not tan. If you can get this chair on sale (fortunately I did) it isn't a bad purchase, but if you are paying full price then I would suggest looking for other brands...I wish Kelty made a big and tall chair, because I have a couple of their camping chairs that have lasted for years and the build quality and design is much better than this Coleman chair.
Pros:
Sturdy
Cons:
cheap materials
Best Used for:
Camping
Tailgating
Would recommend: Yes
