SiOnyx Aurora Explorer Edition 4x16mm Night Vision Monocular

I purchased this monocular after deliberating the price, so that I would have NV for my Ops Core Sentry ballistic helmet. I knew what I was buying when I ordered it, and I was still blown away by the quality. The case that it comes in has egg crate in it, which is then put in the Sionyx cardboard sleeve, inside a cardboard box, wrapped with two layers of bubble wrap inside another cardboard box; your camera will be safe. Will be looking into a second one shortly!
Pros:
Picatinny rail allows rifle mounting, price, quality, waterproof, IR illuminator, excellent packaging, can be helmet mounted for flip up/down Nods.
Cons:
Illuminator only comes with equipment to mount onto picatinny rails, makes it useless for helmet mounting. In order to helmet mount you must order a mount made specifically for the sionyx, through Lions Gear Solutions. No actual cons to the camera itself.
Best Used for:
Anything you could use a camera for. Night and day allows continuous use if you have power.
Would recommend: Yes
