Works as well and gonna be using it for camping trips, airsoft night games, and walking around at night time. I got it because it can record and is on par with gen 2 analog nods. I know I can get a pvs14 gen 2 and buy a recorder but WEIGHT + CAMERA BLOCKING EYE VIEW + $$$$ + BULKY DESIGN = BIG DISADVANTAGE. The Opsin is also compatible with COTI(clip on thermal imaging) and 3x Magnifier Lens for pvs14. The protecter lens from "lion gear solutions" I purchased, fit nice and tight. The settings are easy to control. The fps settings, 30 fps sees better at very dark areas and 90 fps sees less dark areas but still great. I have mine set to 60 fps, can look in most dark areas and can still run in them too. Well it depends on the user health conditions. For those who wear and play with VR goggles most of the time are not gonna have no problems with using the opsin at 60 fps and maybe 30 fps. For those who don’t have VR, you’ll have some problems getting use to at 60 fps but you’ll be fine after a while. 90 fps is fine to use. Overall this device is great for many things.
Pros:
Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof, Great Looking
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Night hiking and night camping
Airsoft
