best Baselayer

I find Merino wool to be the best material by far for temperature regulation in cold temps and sweatiness. So I thought I'd try a lighter weight short sleeve, for springs and summers in the outdoors. I've only had the 150 Base Layer s/s for a couple weeks, but so far I really like it. It's comfortable, lightweight, wicking, allows ease of movement. I will be taking this on all my backpacking trips and warm weather hikes.

best baselayer ever

I bought the Smartwool Merino 150 Baselayer for the first time about 7 years ago. Although it is showing it's wear, it has been and continues to be my favorite basesayer for summer and winter activities. In the summer I have used it on cool mornings in the mountains and in the winter underneath layers. It keeps me warm but not hot. Also, it has lasted 7 years!!!
