I bought this shirt because my wife was tired of smelling my workout clothes in the cloths hamper. I've been wearing smartwool socks for years and loved their quality, comfort and performance so I decided to give their shirts a try. I wore it the first time and played 2 hours of pickleball, got up and went for an hour and a half run the next morning, and played 90 minutes of raquetball in the afternoon. The shirt was lightweight and comfortable, felt great against my skin, and wicked my perspiration away so i had no issues with rubbing or chafing. Typically I'd have gone through 3 shirts for that kind of activity but the shirt was fresh. I washed it at that point only because it seemed wrong to just keep going with it! Merino wool products are a little on the pricey side, but I've decided I can do with fewer and be happier using them. I'm 5'9 155lbs and wear a medium.
The shirt was plenty long without a lot of excess around my torso. Love my smartwool
