I prefer a snug fit and with these shirts I order a size smaller. Merino wool won't stink even after several days of wear. Great product, dries fast and it will shrink in the dryer. It's easy to tear pulling on and off so be gentle.

I've tried several merino t-shirts (kuiu, icebreaker) this feels most durable but not as soft as icebreaker. I've worn it probably 10 times and on several day hikes/runs and its felt good. I would pick icebreaker for day to day wear and smart wool for hiking/backpacking. This is the shirt I will take with me on the JMT in a few weeks.

I use this short for bike commuting - about ten miles each way. It's comfortable, keeps moisture from bothering me, and dries quickly enough. It doesn't get smelly like some of my other performance shirts. I have two of these - one long and one short sleeve. Nothing bug good things to say about them. Somewhat pricey, however.
