Most Helpful Positive Review Comfy and warm
These are super soft and comfy, not at all itchy. The wide waistband is awesome, and they breathe wonderfully, no overheating. They aren't quite as warm as my mid-weight Ibex long johns, but almost, and the waistband is waaaay better. Beautiful color. I'm 5'7" and 150lbs with some belly, usually a size 10-12, and the large fits quite well without feeling too tight.

Best Purchase - No Regrets

This bottoms have been amazing so far. I skied recently at Winter Park, CO, in 14 degree weather, and I was warm and cozy the whole day. They are true to size. I'm 5'9" and weigh 120 lbs. I bought a small. Best investment in quite some time.

Basic leggings with Smartwool quality

These are a pair of well-made leggings to wear inside jeans or any other types of pants to keep you warm, or to wear alone with boots or athletic shoes. They have the good 250 wool material that Smartwool uses for the baselayer T-shirts. Order your true size or a smaller size, because it runs a tad bit large.

Comfortable, lightweight and warm.

My boyfriend purchased these for me for our winter escape to Lake Placid. Not much choice for colors in my size. What was important was how they fit, how comfortable they are and how warm. The fit was perfect for me. Very comfortable, not bulky and not itchy. I love the SmartWools.

Smartwool is the Best

I've tried other brands, but Smartwool base layers are just perfect for me, great fit, and very comfortable. A lot of base layers fit weirdly in the legs, like real tight from the knees down but these are great. The MW is great for colder days, with some pullover fleece etc over it on top.
