These are great for travel, especially my long bike tours, allowing me to wash them and they dry quickly. I got the black and am happy I did. I bought a second pair.
The Campsaver price makes them affordable for me.
Pros:
wool blend

None

These are thicker and softer than the other smartwool bikini underwear I have. However, they both seem just a little too tight in the hip area for a size small and I typically wear size small or x-small in underwear. For that reason, they definitely show pantylines and do that weird thing where they squeeze your butt weird.

I've been a fan of merino undies for a while now (let's be honest here: less funk than the poly-based skivvies), but hadn't ventured to Smartwool's yet. I wasn't sure on sizing, due to other reviews saying they ran small. The choice was easy for me this time; size small was the cheapest (I was otherwise considering medium). They fit about as expected, perhaps a bit smaller than some other brands but not uncomfortably so (for reference, I typically wear size 4 or 6 in pants). In terms of cut, they are somewhere between a bikini and hipster; similar to Patagonia's active hipster, though different "feel" with the fabric. They don't feel like they'll slide down too much, but also shouldn't poke out of most pants.
I ordered the "berry" color, which looked kind of like a purple-ish fuschia-type color. When I received them, they were definitely more pink than I was expecting! Ooops! I'll be curious to see how these hold up compared with other brands, such as Icebreaker.
