Amazing durability
I used a pair of these sock on a two year 74,000 mile motorcycle trip. They were not my only pair on the trip but let me tell you they took lots of abuse. They are amazing at breathability, warmth and low odor factor. I could wear them several days in full motor cross boots and they would not get overly stinky at all. The socks are still going strong and have lots of life left! Best socks on the planet.

Excellent, but thick
Typical SmartWool quality. Stays in shape after use and is quite warm. However, fit-wise, realize that it is a bit thicker than most ski socks. The added thickness is in heel and toe box so if you have super tight boots this may affect things a bit. For me, the added thickness didn't affect any boot/buckle settings (vs other lighter ski socks) but if you have super-tight race settings on your boots, this sock may be a tad thick.
