Very good
I'm amazed at how good Snow Peak stuff is generally speaking. This tool set in no exception. The only criticism perhaps is that the tongs do not have teeth: if you attempt to manoeuvre something heavier it tends to slip. But that is where help from the poker comes in handy! This is the best fire tool set I have ever owned and the accompanying canvas carrier is heavy duty and impressive in its own right. The tools are made in Japan and the carrier in China.

The Fire Tool Set is a Must Have!
This set provides everything needed to maintain and tend to your fire. It comes in very handy when using my Takibi Fire and Grill to maintain the log arrangement so that my hands stay free of the flames. I would highley recommend this set for anyone using the Takibi!

Good quality
Always trust snow peak with good design and quality. Bought couple of snow peak sets like carry fire pit which is heavy duty. So is this fire tool set which comes with a solid bag. I would recommend every camping fan to get at least one product from snow peak. BTW, CampSaver provides good deal and fast shipping.

Excellent wood stove kit
Purchased this set for a wall tent stove. Went solo camping in Idaho last fall and these tools are perfect for tending a wood stove. Having a pick, shovel and tongs made adjusting coals and maintenance of the fire easy. I set up a chair inside the tent next to the stove and was able to tend the fire and relax knowing I was able to monitor and adjust the fire.
The handles are comfortable, the metal heavy enough to move quartered wood inside a stove and the case makes packing away neat and clean. You can even keep some fire starting supplies inside the small net pocket. These are quality, through and through and should last my lifetime. Excellent purchase!!

Snow Peak Quality Miniaturized
This tool set is very nice an the case is nice and heavy duty. Be aware however that the tools are relatively small and sized to work with the Snow Peak fold and carry fire places. If you are looking for a set for a true fire pit you will be disappointed but if you buy for its intended use you will be very happy.

Must have for a fire pit set
If you own a SP fire pit of any size, this is a must-have. I generally leave the shovel at home, but the tongs and hook are great for moving burning logs. The hook is especially handy the next morning; you snag the cast iron coal bed, lift it out, give it a quick brush, brush out the fire pit, and you're good to go!

SP Fire Tool Set
As always, SP has not let me down with their exceptional build quality and form factor. I recently added this to my 2 IGT sets and they complement our Double BBQ box and Large Fireplace Set very well. Makes grilling with the family much easier :)
