The competition has this one beat, especially on installation of the mantle, took 3 to get one on, and it is bent on the igniter side, very hard to get around igniter, almost impossible. Will use it as Christmas gift.

Just brought from Campsaver last month, and will do a field test on coming wild camping. Test in home and find it easy to lite up. For my standard, it's quite powerful like a 40W light bulb and I think it's totally enough for making dinner or gathering at camp site. I love it's warm light that a battery light will never give. The material is very high standard and for my own opinion it is beautifu

Great small lantern. If you must have one. This is the smallest and lightest. I enjoy having one at our campsite lit after a long day. This product is compact, lightweight, and for it's size puts out okay light. It could use something to hang it up. They do not run long without a lot of maintainence. They fuel injector is it's main problem. It clogs up,unable to be used without being cleaned. Which the tools do not come with the lantern. You can but an expensive kit, With just one injector, which you will need more than one,for they

This is my only gadget gear that I bring with on EVERY trip long or short.
I have this lantern burning at the entrance of my tent when I'm inside and let the COLD wind carry the warm air into my tent before I go to bed or when I need to chance cloths in minus zero weather.
Many an early morning, I will turn this on to warm up the tent a bit to make my climbing out of the sleeping bag easier.
