best all around kettle
this is the Swiss Army Kettle at a price thats the best on line. Forget the Ti pots, you can boil water from this pot, eat your meal, and works great with a alchol stove.
Anyone from a car camper to a thru-hiker should get one of these. Really after using mine for 3 years this is one of my better pu...

Imprecise pour, but beautiful construction
Excellent Snow Peak quality, good price for being make in Japan. I'm deducting points because the spout is quite imprecise and a bit splashy when pouring, making it not ideal for pourover coffee. A miss that keeps it from being truly multi-purpose.

Nice little pot
it's good for 2 ~3 cups of large cups of coffee and fits snow peak gas canister inside.
Also it can handle one portion of Korean instant noodles as well, the drain hall make everything make a lot easier for mountain ice dried food.
If I am on backpacking and only carry dried food, instant noodles, and some meats, I will only carry this instead full set.

Best of everything Kettle
Tough indestructible water and cooking kettle
Will take direct open flame
Can be hung over a fire
Long handles that are easy to use when over a stove (will need gloves when over an open fire)
Cleans easily so you can cook real food, not just a water/tea/coffee kettle (although is is a superb at that)
The inner pan of the Zebra pot fits inside, so you can use it for baking as you cook food
It is not ultralight, but is is not heavy and can easily be used for backpacking, especially if you will be using open fire
Sturdy SS does not burn when on high heat and the SS takes a real scrubbing, so easy to keep clean
I really like it

Amazing Kettle
I use this little kettle with my Mini-Trangia cookset. It is a vital part of a cook set that I leave in the car. It’s a cup, pot and kettle in one container. Good for preparing soup, tea, rice, oatmeal and more. The lid allows for a fast boil, the handle stays out of the heat while cooking and the spout guides the liquid to your cup. Perfect!
Best Used for:
- Fishing, Hiking and Camping

not balanced
Overall this is a nice piece for the price however the design is not ideal for me. The spout does not counteract the weight of the handles (when folded) which causes the kettle to hang unbalanced when using the bail. When you put water in it this helps the issue but I'm constantly fumbling around with the kettle because the handles keep flopping out. I will check with Campsaver to see if this might be an issue with my particular kettle.

Snow Peak Kettle no 1
Well finished. Bottom width 4 1/2 inches, excellent for all heat sources such gas fuel stoves, or alcohol, or tablets. Ease of handling with bail or handles. I would be cautious with non liquids as thin bottom metal could burn food, pay attention. Small size heats fast.

Great little kettle!!
Best $20 I've spent in a long time. It's not the lightest but I used it to boil plenty of water on my last trip. I'm a big fan of Snow Peak...this little kettle didn't disappoint.
