Great Handle
Great for picking up the smaller Snow Peak cast iron pots. Made in Japan. Great quality. Nice handle and if you are a Snow Peak fan, it is a perfect compliment to your gear box.

Sturdy lifter with good grip
I have a few Snow Peak cast iron pots in Micro series that is designed to use with this lifter.
The Micro series cast iron handles has ridges. When using the lifter, it will hold the pots firmly. You can either hold the lid, or the whole pot easily.
The Micro series cast iron pots are cute and small, but in comparison, this lifter is quite big. It is extremely sturdy though, the wire is 1/2" thick and I believe it can easily hold 10 lbs of stuff without any signs of deformation. The grip is designed to be assymmetric and make it very comfortable to use even when you hold a heavy pot with full of ingredients.
If you own the Micro series cast iron pots, I strongly recommend getting this one.
