Nice!

This is similar to an OLD design piton hammer. I bought it because of the way it looks and I am somewhat of a gear slut. I would NOT recommend it for anything but car camping. The lanyard is obnoxious and gets in the way unless you hold it or put it around your wrist, but it is removable. When I brake the handle, (maybe before) I will replace it with some better, more decorative hard wood. Beyond that, it does what its supposed to do, smash toes and put stakes in the ground. (It Removes them nicely as well!)

Worked well

Peg hammer and stakes, pounded into hard stony ground easily and the peg hook pulled out the stakes easily as well. In same conditions last year, aluminum msr pegs broke and bent both driving in and removing. Snow peak no issues at all. Only downside is weight, but car camping they are great.
