For many years I used a French coffee press for my morning coffee, very soon I will go on a coast-to-coast bike tour for over two months, I did not want to give up my small luxury of fresh coffee in the mornings. Weight and volume are very important on a trip like this, traditional coffee presses are made of glass or heavy metals. This coffee press proved to be perfect in size, weight, and being made of titanium is very efficient in heating up quick, saving fuel. I will travel alone, but it is perfect for up to two people, after the morning coffee can be used as storage space for other items. I don't mind giving up a comfortable recliner for a bicycle saddle, or my bedroom for a sleeping bag and a tent, but I'm very glad I didn't have to leave behind the pleasure of freshly pressed coffee in the mornings.
