I have one of these in the office, at home, and keep one for travel when I go camping.. or whatever. Hot tea stays hot. Fingers don't burn. The double wall keeps outside pretty cool. Lips don't burn either due double wall. Note, you cannot heat this one on the fire due to the double wall. I got sick of accidentally breaking my china mugs especially camping. This one lasts. Love the size!

This mug is just the size I prefer. Light and comfortable feel in hand. No condensation build up on the sidewalls with cold beverages. Versatile in use as a coffee mug or plain ole cup.

Love Snow Peak

Snow Peak quality surpass most brands for durability. Love the double wall insulation feature in keeping the cup not too hot when drinking hot beverages or vice versa with cold drinks. I love it so much that I brought the smaller version (450). No issues with dishwasher. NOTE: do not heat this cup directly over the fire since its double wall.

JAPANESE High Quarity

The MG-054R cannot be used for direct fire, but since it has a two-layer structure, it is hard to let heat pass through your hand, and the high quality made in Japan gives you a sense of satisfaction.

It doesn't get much better than this.

Lightweight, durable, and large enough for my size of portions. The insulation of the double wall is very welcome on a metal cup. The only downside is that the handles aren't the most comfortable when the cup is full of heavy contents. Not enough to be unbearable by any means, just an observation. For a minimalist product though, comfort and weight are in constant flux. It's a very tolerable disco

Excellent Mug

I use it for hot tea in the office in Iraq. It is easy to clean, holds temp of tea while it steeps, and once the outside cools a bit, keeps your hand warm.

Put a lid on it.

The mug is great but I don't understand why it doesn't come with a simple lid. With a lid I could store stuff in it while backpacking, making the mug multifunctional.
