Light as air...

I am a big fan of Snow Peak products and this umbrella did not disappoint. It easily lives up to it's Ultralight name. Opening the umbrella is the same as any other manual but fully closing does take a little bit more work. That said, there is nothing that says you have to fully collapse and store each time. The umbrella can still be quickly closed just like any other medium sized umbrella which is what I do until it dries and I have a chance to fully pack later. Great buy.

Lightest, toughest umbrella out there!

The Snow Peak UL Umbrella is lightweight and easy to stow in your carry on or pack. It's very sturdy and sheds rain well, and seems to hold up against lighter winds. Take care when closing it and it will last a long time!

Ultralight rain protection/shade

Very satisfied with this umbrella. Weighing in at a scant 146 grams, this is easily accessible rain protection. It's so easy to grab this during a brief shower or for shade on those long stretches of exposed trail. Love it!
