SOL Emergency Bivvy

I have not had the opportunity to use it yet but the quality seems excellent. All the reviews I read gave it high marks as an excellent piece of survival equipment. I was reading an article in an outdoor magazine regarding putting together your own well equipped survival kit and one of the items mentioned to include in that kit was the SOL Emergency Bivvy. I have had to utilize the standard mylar "space blankets" before in a survival situation and the SOL Bivvy seems a lot less prone to damage.

lightweight must have for multiday hike

I have SOL Emergency Bivvy on my backpack everytime I go hiking anywhere. You can get injured and spend a night out there.
Very compact and very light.

small & light

Added this bivvy to my pack as a an emergency shelter in case something bad happened. It's small and light enough that you can easily carry it and not have to worry about it.
