The screen fits the burner well and is stable, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra few ounces of weight. I compared boiling times for 500ml of water with and without the screen on a 43 degree day with light wind. Time to boiling was about 45 seconds longer with the screen; probably because I had to heat the mass of the screen too. My scale wasn't sensitive enough to detect any difference in fuel consumption. I plan to try again on a really windy day, but for now I don't see a real advantage to using the windscreen.
