Designed for the OD-1R Micro Regulator Stove, the Micro Windscreen from Soto helps prevent incomplete combustion due to windy conditions, resulting in efficient cooking results.
The screen fits the burner well and is stable, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra few ounces of weight. I compared boiling times for 500ml of water with and without the screen on a 43 degree day with light wind. I've paired the Micro Windscreen with the OD-1RX Micro Regulator Stove, fit like a dream. It helped reduce the half inch wind gap between the pot and the stove to a mere 1/8th inch... In my opinion, this stove rivals the fastest Jetboil on the market!
The Soto Micro Windscreen will not work with the Snow Peak LiteMax Stove. The pot support is not raised on the LiteMax Stove, causing the Micro Windscreen to not fit properly.
The Soto Micro Windscreen won't work very well with your Snowpeak LiteMax stove, because the OD-1R Micro Stove that the Windscreen is made for has raised pot supports for the windscreen to fit under. The LiteMax does not have the raised supports so it wouldn't fit.
