Soto Pocket Torch

Seems to work just fine. Clicks nicely and fires up hot. I plan to use this in wet weather and hopefully it holds up with a flame during the rain. It’s nice to know that you can purchase fuel for this cheaply and at stores which are widely available. I am looking forward to using this continuously on my camping trips.

This thing is unbelievable it turns a cheap lighter into a dependable blowtorch. This is the fifth one that I have purchased. Have given these away as gifts and use one around the house and keep one in my camping box. None have failed. Works every time. It is my go to fire starter. Works well cutting line keeps the ends from fraying.

Great Product

I've used it 4 or 5 times to light an alcohol stove and it works great. I'm glad I bought it. The square lighters are sold at Walmart.

what a great idea. Compact, yet powerful, even in wet weather. And I am using generic lighter....3 for a dollar at the dollar store...they work perfectly!!

Great little torch

I bought this Soto pocket torch for backpacking and liked its small size compared to other similar torches. It takes the small flame from the regular lighter which you can easily buy at the store. It also produces a very powerful torch flame. I used this torch in high winds and it worked great. Only bottom line I've found so far is that BIC will not work at all. Overall, I would recommend it for camping or backpacking.

Great tool

It is a great tool. Be aware that this little torch does struggle in cold temperatures (below 20 degrees). So have another fire system if camping in cold weather, but I have this as part of my kit now.
