I read some solid reviews for this growler before purchasing -- including a great write-up at Wirecutter -- and this growler definitely lives up to the high praise.
Pros
- clean look.
- easy to carry + pour. (Although the initial pour, when the growler is full, is a little tricky.)
- keeps beer cold. It's pretty hot in TX right now and I've used this growler a few times outdoors. Works great to keep contents cold even in the hot sun. I haven't tested Stanley's claim of "24 hours cold" but it's definitely held up to 6+ hours in 90+ (F) weather, and I think it would easily do 12 or more.
- strong seal on the lid. For beer I've been good getting 24 hours; a slight drop-off after that but nothing I've worried about.
- seems pretty bullet-proof although I haven't done anything yet (e.g, dropped it) to test that out.

I have a couple crayon markers that are great for this, you could just wrIte what beer + ABV on the side, and then erase it when you're done. I've tried to do this directly on the sidewall of the Stanley growler but it doesn't work too well because the sidewalls have condensation.
Overall a great purchase, highly recommend. Price is up there a bit but -- IMO -- it's worth it. From a performance standpoint it runs circles around any glass growler you can get, and the strong seal on the lid (vs. what I've seen from competing stainless ste...
