After living in Germany for 9.5yrs in the US Army doing alot of hunting of game. I learned from my German counterparts that if you spent $1000 on a rifle, you should double that for your optics on it. At the time I could only afford so much and purchased the best I could. I never did have a pair of GOOD night-time binoculars,until now!!! Wow there is a reason why Steiner optics has surpassed Zeiss and Swarovski. The light transmission glass coating are crystal clear with 99% light transmission. No one is close to that or at least close enough. Get a pair and you'll be a believer not to mention amazed at what's out there that you've never seen. 100% Would purchase again!!!
