Don't Waste Your Time or Money!
Sterling had two chances to impress us with this rope. The first one we ordered was frayed at the mid-point between the bi-coloring. We figured it had to do with interweaving sheath fibers but when we contacted Sterling even they agreed it was extensive so they sent us a new one. Which was great until we took it out ONCE for a day of climbing and came back with a sheath that in a few areas looked like it had been climbed on for a year. Don't waste your time or money. I honestly thought my boyfriend accidentally bought a gym rope. 1 star. So weak. Straight Up Sucks.

Review of Sterling Evolution Velocity 9.8 mm Dry Rope
- Just received this rope so have not yet had an opportunity to test it out climbing although it handles very well out of the box and like the color and great price/value. Also the rope has stellar reviews selected best in its category in 2017. Look forward to using it this weekend ice climbing. Note: the pic on their website for the Neon Green rope shows a bi-color pattern rope which this is not. This rope is actual a Neon green fixed pattern with a mid point marker. Ref to Sterling website.
