I'd searched for a straw Fedora to protect my balding pate from the sun and saw this one. I have a Sunday Afternoons felt Fedora for cooler weather so was familiar with the brand. I like that the sizing is adjustable with an "in the brim" canvas tie. The hat is very stylish, a nice warm golden tan hue that goes with all colors, and has a UPF 50 rating for sun protection. In my opinion, it loses a star for the material used to make the hat, a "Breathable Paper/Polyester Braid" which carries the footnote "avoid rain / wet conditions". Besides sun protection, I wear a wide brimmed hat is to protect my hearing aids in the rain. I love the looks of the hat and its breathability. I will love it even more if it doesn't dissolve in the rain.
