I originally bought the Lotus hat in the sand/beige color, but my husband ended up keeping it for himself! Yes, he looks a little silly because it does have a wider brim than most men's hats, but he doesn't mind because it really protects his face and neck while he's out mowing the grass and doing outdoor work.
I went ahead and bought another one for myself in the "waterfall" color. It is such a lovely color! I took it to the beach not too long ago and it was exactly what I needed. The chinstrap kept it on my head even in the extra breezy beach weather.
On a separate note, I had previously bought (and immediately returned) this same hat from another online retailer, and they folded it in QUARTERS, and stuffed it in a plastic shipping bag! Needless to say, the brim was permanently creased and ruined, even though I desperately tried to fix it.
I am SO thankful to CampSaver for not skimping out on shipping materials. They did such an incredible job with packing the hat, which arrived in a very large, cardboard box with lots of packing material to keep it from getting crushed. The brim was in perfect condition when it arrived.
