I received the rod lickety-split. It looks great and I can't wait to try it out. However, it just isn't the season around here yet. Just wanted to comment on my being impressed with campsaver so far.

I began fishing with Tenkara rods about 3 months ago. My first rod being an Amago. The Iwana is my second. Both rods have their respective purposes. The Iwana rod is a real pleasure to use and is lighter and shorter (by 1 1/2 feet) than the Amago. Received item and immediately thought the quality was excellent. Instructions for Tenkara newbie were fine, was getting good casts in no time.
First time using was in a large open stream. The brown trout in that stream see you coming so they take off before you can get close enough. The browns were also too big for that rod (18").
