EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED

This shoe is perfect for me. I wanted something to go hiking in but really did not want a high top shoe that would not be used for other events. This is it. It has the look of a boot but is really built more like an athletic shoe. The leather is top quality and sturdy but soft. The fit was perfect. I am between a 7 1/2 and 8. I went with the 8 and am happy. The toe is boxy and will probably not wear on my toes on day long hikes. This was a true value for the money purchase,
