ADK Backpacker's Review of Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XTherm Max Sleeping Pad - Past Season
I bought this pad as a companion to my summer weight sleeping pad. So far, it is lived more than up to its billing. We got the max version. It is very comfortable. In temperatures down to the high 20s, we each were toasty warm on our respective pads (both the same). There have been nights in my 15° down sleeping bag that I have been cold when it was 35 or even 40° out (I sleep cold) when using my summer weight sleeping pad. With this pad, I feel confident that I could sleep in the 15 to 20° range comfortably. See the outdoor gear lab review of this pad. It is the real deal.
Pros:
Very warm, spacious in max configuration, comfortable and packs small and light.
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Cool to cold weather camping
Would Recommend:
Yes
