I have owned cheaper basic Thermal Rest pads made 20 years ago and have performed well over the years. None compare to my new NeoAir XTherm Max. This new light weight pad has outstanding an insulation ratings of 6.9 R-value! I opted for the wide 25" x 72" due to my 5'10" 235lb size. Plus I'm a restless sleeper so a few more ounces is worth a comfortable sleep. I also like how small it packs and includes a bag for inflation. The new valve looks heavy duty too. Highly recommended.
