Most Helpful Positive Review For men as well...
After a pretty thourough research of different pads, this one came out on top due to it's low weight and high R value for my excursions in Arizona and Colorado. It's significantly lighter than the men's (if you're counting oz.'s) and is warmer. The only thing you're giving up is a few inches of your feet hanging off the end, which hasn't bothered me in the least. I bought it for myself about a y

Very Happy!

I have yet to use my sleeping pad on the trails but I am very happy with my few tests that I've done in the living room. It's very comfortable and even though it's only 1.5 inches thick, it's enough for me to even lie on my side and not feel the ground so much. Very happy!!

Love it

I love this pad because as a 5'6'' female when i go backpacking I enjoy that it is lightweight and skinny, for such a high R vale (compared to other cheaper lightweight mats)

good for men too

It was a replacement for my old and leaky Thermarest prolite 4. And it's much better then old, packs smaller, lighter and maybe two times warmer. I'm 5'11, pad is little bit short for me, but it's not a big problem for me.

by Happy Camper 80, Written on September 10, 2011
First trip i used this pad on was a 4 day trip through havasupai, it packed tight and light. Was very comfotable for sleeping on the rough ground also worked well propped up againt a tree stump and used as a camp chair, since then have been on mutliple over nighters and it is still just as good as the first trip... Would definetly reccomend this product

Light, small, and comfortable!

by Who?, Written on September 10, 2011
I used to backpack with my luxury series thermarest...so my standards were high, but this was an excellent substitute. It packs to the size of a loaf of bread, and feels like sleeping on a solid foam pad. Overall I think the insulation was good and I stayed warm even in freezing rain. I'm 5'2" and this was a little long, but a good fit for me. The only downside is that the pad is a little narro

Thermarest Prolite

by Goin' back to P, Written on September 10, 2011
Lifetime warranty made this a plus for me after just replacing 2 cheap mats. Thermarest's product names were somewhat confusing. In searching for Thermarest Prolite, found that mats come with a lot of variable qualities with the same name. Make sure you're comparing apples to apples.
