Good pad if you have to bring something, as in no pad at all....I would recommend saving your money for a better pad as in air or accordion style, but this just won't cut the mustard or ground as you will feel it...although it will be a good "ground barrier" and keep the cold ground in cool temps away. This pad is light but the diameter rolled up is rather large (huge) on your pack. Save up for a better pad....
