I've used a parachute nylon hammock for several years for scout and family campouts. While it was a great improvement over sleeping on the ground, the hammock would stretch enough overnight that it wasn't as comfortable in the morning as it was when I went to bed. I also wanted to try a longer hammock to see how it felt. When this one got to my home, I immediately set it up and laid down in it. I loved the feel of the fabric, and the extra length did make it more comfortable to start with. (My wife also tried it, and immediately got one for herself). I slept the night in it a few nights later, and love it even more. The lack of seams and the length seem to provide a more comfortable hammock to start, while the lack of stretch keeps it comfortable all night long. My nylon hammocks are now loaners, as I'll be sleeping in this one now.
