Not for Me. I bought two of these mats with the intention of strapping them together for a double wide mat while backpacking with my wife. Overall just ok as little bulky, a little heavy, and the mat is not that thick so if you are a side sleeper I would consider a little thicker mat.

Love Thermarest pads! Purchased the Trail Lite because I am getting older and need to cut waaayyy down on the weight. That said I am getting older and I am feeling the old bones not wanting to sleep on hard ground anymore. This pad is a little thin but still works. Need to try it out a few more times to be able to fully review. Will be going on a 7 day deep dive trip into the wilderness and I am sure I will then be able to make a better decision on how well it works for me.
Best Used for:
- When weight supercedes total comfort

Love the comfort this pad provides, it is only 1 and 1/2 inches thick, but makes sleeping in a tent so much more comfortable. Very glad I purchased this pad.

I buy it for camping with my friends. The function of the isolation is really nice that I can sleep well in the cold weather.

This is a good pad for a lightweight backpacker. It's not as comfortable as I would like it to be, But it works if you are looking for a pad that is very lightweight.

as soon as your tent is set-up set the therma-rest up so it can lay flat for a while. helps to keep you warm and had no problems with it.

I bought this for backpacking. It's definitely a little bulkier than I would've liked--I've seen inflatible pads that pack down to the size of a water bottle, but the smallest I can get this is a 1'x1' cylinder. However, I've had many comfortable nights sleep on this. It's about an inch and a half thick when fully inflated. I'd recommend it for a casual camper or backpacker who had a little extra

I can't begin to say how comfortable these are. I am 5'11" 150lbs and no mater what way I laid I never touched the ground. Very warm and really comfortable. Wife loves it.
It is a bit bulky but honestly it is well worth it.
Takes about 4-6 breathes to fully inflate.
