Most Helpful Positive Review Nice pad for the price
I picked this pad up from the outlet as an irregular. Not sure what the blemish was since I couldn't find it. The pad inflates and deflates smoothly and feels great to sleep on. Comes with a stuff sack but no repair kit. If you get the pad from the outlet you get a pretty good pad at a really good price.

Made in USA

This is my second Therm-A-Rest self inflating pad. I had and used the first one for many years. It was great for car camping but too bulky for backpacking. This one seems to fit the bill, much more compact and lighter weight. It is comfortable for me, I am 5’10”, 150 lbs. I especially like the r value. My only concern is the length, I choose large as I wanted the width for my shoulders but the pad is kinder than I would have liked. Might change it out for a Medium at 72” long.
Pros:
  • made in usa
Cons:
  • A bit long
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking, hammock,

As described

I received 2 Thermarest camping pads in a reasonable amount of time. They self-inflated as expected. I have yet to take them camping, but they look great on my living room floor! Can't wait to head outdoors!

Therm A rest trail pad

by Daisy, from CA, United States Written on December 12, 2017
I need a pad for bike camping or trekking. I prefer inflatable than the air one. Therm a rest is just right choice with sale price
Small size fits my need because I don't camp in very cold place. Small size pack is just a little bigger than the air version and weight is 400gr. Its foam is better than my previous Hydrolite

Nice pad, buy it

by dogg, from CA, United States Written on December 2, 2017
This is nicer than I thought it would be, and the price was great. I don't see anything "irregular" about it. It's lightweight and yet substantial. I dig it! I just hope it doesn't get a leak. . . that seemed to be the problem with my older Thermarests.

Irregular Trail Scout

Can't even figure out what's "irregular" about the pad. Works as advertised, no patches. H*ll of a deal comparatively. R value of 3 feels like R value of 5. Nice pad.

Was leery about buying an "irregular" but I can't find a flaw or blemish. Works great and was a bargain. What more can I say.
