Cool little chair! - Therm-a-Rest Treo Chair

I was lucky enough to receive a couple of these for Xmas. I didn't even know I wanted camp chairs - I tend to go pretty close to full on ultralight. About 50/50 as far as camping "base camp style" versus straight up backpacking from site to site.

I have to say I'm amazed at how light these are. And they pack down small- a little bigger than a water bottle. They're cleverly designed, as the base doubles as the carry container which the chair folds up into. And they are cute.

They are almost light enough that I'd consider adding one to my pack for a short trip. I probably won't - most likely a base camp item, but it's nice to have the option.

They can be a little pesty to set up but fine once you get the hang of it. And for a chair this light it's reasonably sturdy.
