I was lucky enough to receive a couple of these for Xmas. I didn't even know I wanted camp chairs - I tend to go pretty close to full on ultralight. About 50/50 as far as camping "base camp style" versus straight up backpacking from site to site.
I have to say I'm amazed at how light these are. And they pack down small- a little bigger than a water bottle. They're cleverly designed, as the base doubles as the carry container which the chair folds up into. And they are cute.
They are almost light enough that I'd consider adding one to my pack for a short trip. I probably won't - most likely a base camp item, but it's nice to have the option.
They can be a little pesty to set up but fine once you get the hang of it. And for a chair this light it's reasonably sturdy.

This jacket is just a terrific deal. It's lightweight, packs down reasonably small, has plenty of bells & whistles (pit zips, adjustable hood, Velcro sleeve straps, plenty of pockets) and it seems pretty waterproof. I've had mine about a year now- mainly used for hiking - and it's still in great shape. I haven't had it in any seriously torrential downpours yet, but it's kept me dry on misty, off/on rainy days.
It's not too bad as far as breathability - it gets a little warm but the pit zips help. It's not the lightest, most comfortable, super waterproof or anything- but for the price point it's pretty much impossible to beat it. This is not a jacket for strenuous hiking in all day rain- I think it's more a "pull it out of your pack when the rain starts" coat.
As far as sizing, I am 5'7, 158, and I got a large. I definitely could have worn a medium, and would prob recommend that if you're my size. I specifically wanted it to layer over a puffy, and to have a pretty loose fit, so I'm happy with my large.

I really think this is one of the best tasting brands of freeze dried food. When you get the boxes like this, you kind of 'get what you get" and inevitably some packs are better than others.
A couple things in general to know about this food: "2 servings" means one pouch- and if you've been hiking all day or doing physical activity you are going to eat the whole pouch, no problem. So pretty much, if it says 12 servings- you're getting 6. They are big servings for one person though.
They are easy enough to make- I use a Jetboil and just pour the water in the pouch, seal it and let it sit, then eat right out of the pouch. Be sure you get the silica gel packs out first.
Another thing about BP: every once in awhile there's a food that requires extra prep and you cannot just add water and eat. I don't know if there's any in this box- but this Brand has gotten me good on the trail a few times. I'd have a bag of this food thinking I was good to go, but realized I'd need a skillet or extra cooking pots, etc to actually make it. Examples: Colorado omelet or Apple crumble dessert, neither is heat and eat ( I don't think those are in this box) but be careful or you'll go hungry.
This brand tastes the best to me- really good stuff- so when they are on sale I usually stock up.

I bought one of these at the beginning of the year. I had been having a hard time finding a fairly lightweight pack that had enough space for multi day hikes but was not huge. More importantly I was having a hard time finding one that fit and felt good. I went to a brick-and-mortar store and was measured and fitted, then proceeded to weight up and try on about 20 packs and walk around for awhile. I was there all afternoon. The problem is that I'm 5'7 but I have a really short torso. My correct size is usually a S but those almost always fit strangely. I have back problems so comfort is a biggie.
As soon as I tried this one on, I knew I'd found my pack. SO comfortable. The torso adjustment is amazing. And the way the pack is designed, it's really easy to make adjustments while you walk. Love the lower compartment, and all the storage areas are so well designed. I've worn this pack for miles of trail at this point and could not be happier. Balanced, sturdy, versatile- brilliant.

I confess I did not buy mine here- I found it cheaper elsewhere. But not by much, and it was a special sale, so Campmor probably has the best price at the moment. I was originally looking at the AS UL 2, but started reading the specs and realized, "wait a minute- for a few bucks more, I can have WAY more room, at only an extra 6 oz - totally, totally worth it. I am so tired of being sardines into "2 person" tents that barely have room for 2 people squeezed together shoulder to shoulder in mummy bags. Ugh.
This tent is incredibly well designed (with the exception of the single side door) and is a snap to put up. It is freestanding and still barely tips the scales at a little over 3lbs. I am just not a tarp person. I want the protection and flexibility of a freestanding tent. To each his own, and that's mine. I have room galore in this, with ample room for 2 people and all their gear. LOVe that!
