Necessary

I have been using these for years and they work great. I use them to connect four sleeping pads so my wife, two kids, and myself have one large bed to sleep on. They work great. The pads all stay together so you don't wake up in the middle of the night between two pads on the hard ground. They are also strong as I have never had one break on me.

This worked exactly the way it said it would- held two air mattresses (one extra large and 30" wide) together without slipping all night. it was like having a full sized bed. i took one star off because it's fairly cheaply made and not really worth how much it costs. still, i wouldn't want to have to create this myself and my boyfriend and i have never slept better in a tent, so, in the end, it's
