Very Happy
Very happy after 3 nights of use. Let it self inflate for several minutes and added a few quick breaths to top it off. No noticeable loss of air over 3 nights.
The dual valves work well. The IN valve doesn't let any air out as you're putting it in. The OUT valve doesn't let any air in as you're trying to get it out.
Fold it 2 or 3 times (like a Z) and sit on it to get most of the air out. Then roll it up to squeeze out the last bit.
Never felt the ground so the thickness was sufficient.
Seems well made and hope it lasts for many years.

Very Noticeable Upgrades
This mat has some very nice upgrades from the previous version. The inflation and deflation valves work very nice, especially being one way. Now all the air you supply will stay were you need it most. Having said that this mat will self inflate quickly so not much of your air will be needed. Fit and finish is extremely good, in typical Thermarest fashion.
