Pictures of the Boots look nicer than the boots do in person.

by robert, from WA, United States Written on April 17, 2020
They look cheap run 1/2 size smaller than typical size 11. Tongue is to large over all not what i have been used to with Timberland boots. Like a drunk China worker made them. If they were not so cheap i would have returned them. But my time is worth more than the boots or the time to send them back.
Pros:
  • nice color
Cons:
  • just look and feel cheaply made.

Great boot

by AMAATY, Verified Owner from MD, United States Written on April 4, 2018
Better built and more rigged than expected for the weight, which was very light compared to my other timberland boots. The laces have a word design and I'd prefer them in black but this brown color matches almost as many other things.
Best Used for:
  • Hiking, casual wear

Earthkeeper Mt. Maddsen Mid Hiking Boot - Men's

by Joseph C., Written on January 27, 2017
Boots were as expected - new in original box, size and fit well. Only downside was it took almost 2 weeks to arrive, OK for me, but if one was in a hurry, need to use faster delivery.

Runs Small - Not Good on Wet Surfaces

by Michael P., Written on July 24, 2016
These boots definitely run small due to the toe box being narrow and low, though buying a ill probably need a inner sole pad. Really it's probably a 1/4 size small. Construction seems okay - I have had trouble with the glue holding outsole to uppers in the past with Timberland so it remains to be seen whether that flaw has been corrected in newer boots. Grip on wet surfaces is very poor and I recommend you exercise caution around streams or in rain, even wet tree roots. I think I might have done better in selecting.

Good boots

by Geoff R., Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on May 16, 2016
Fast shjpment, great service from campsaver. I pretty much took the boops out of the box on a weekend trek at Joshua Tree. I was quite comfortable considering it was in the 90's and I lugged 24lbs of water on my pack. This desert is a rough environment and my 48 year old feet had no issues. With some good insoles Im confident my feet can do many desert treks this year in these timberlands. My only regret is I did not receive my free gift of irregular hiking socks. I'm guessing supplies ran out.
