simple, tough

great set for 3 men, or 4 mixed persons.
tough, pretty much non stick, simple design.
The only con is that it is a very slow cooker, but most of the time, thats fine. Im not an adventure racer, not many people are.

Also, the trangia sets are great not for the stove itself, but as great cheap pots. Other brand name pots of similar sizes cost much more. I buy trangia stuff bcos of the pots, not th
Most Helpful Positive Review Best trangia, almost
This larger Trangia cooker uses anodized aluminum pots but saves money with a normal aluminum windscreen. There is no reason to anodize the windscreen unless you use the cooker in a salty or corrosive environment. However, it also uses a nonstick frying pan. These last a few years in my experience but ultimately the nonstick fluorocarbon coating ends up in your bacon, and you can't scrub them clean like uncoated cookware. I immediately replaced this and old Trangia cookware i have with hard anodized versions. Consider buying a kit without nonstick. The hard anodized finish lets you cook tomato...

Trangia 25-8 HA

This thing rocks! I had never used an alcohol stove before so I planned on always using my nova stove in it. Looking back the trangia burner is all I need. It's quick enough and simmers well. The 25 is large enough for 3 adults. I first I thought it was a bit heavy until I weighed my other white gas stove and cookware. There isn't much difference and the 25-8 is all self contained. I love it!!!
