Most Helpful Positive Review 27-4 Ultralight Stove Kit first test
I selected the Trangia for two main reasons - clean cheap fuel, and the built in, efficient, stable wind screen. While there is perhaps a trade-off on heating speeds vis-a-vis other options, I am very impressed with the Trangia 27-4 after doing a quick test right out of the box. Filled the tea pot with 16 oz water and fired it up in the back yard on a breezy 25F degree day using Methanol (Heet brand). Was surprised that it went to an all out rolling boil after about 6 minutes. The hardware is sturdier than I expected with good fit and finish - well designed and manufactured. Looking forward to...

Perfect for cooking on the trail.

I watched Paul Bisseker's Bushcraft YouTube videos on the Trangia 27 cooking system and dived in purchasing a billy can, winter attachment and the little multi use cutting board and trangia fuel bottle. This is all I use now and all I will ever use for the foreseeable future. I absolutely love this setup. I have run into people who are using their parents trangia cooker from way back when they went camping ! The will last forever and will be handed down to you next generation of hikers! So simple and reliable! Foe once I purchased something that did what it promised to do! I love it love it love it!

Great Stove

This is a great little, lightweight stove that is perfect for two people. Water boiled very quickly and cleanup was very easy. I highly recommend it.

Trangia 27-4 Stove Kit

Very good construction and design. I've tested the stove by boiling water and cooking some bratwursts on it. It took around 8-10 min. to boil. The most important thing for the stove to run efficiently is to have good quality fuel.

Easy to order this product from Campsaver. I haven't used the Trangia yet, but look forward to it. I did alotbof research and this stove had wonderful reviews and seems easy and light to use.
